Our Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible Digital Teaching Assistant (Esports) to join a team of dedicated staff who are committed to providing an excellent learning environment and becoming part of a successful and innovative team based at the Trust's Digital Hub at Enterprise Works.
Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant who has worked within a mainstream or specialist education setting, or someone with exceptional vocational skills, digital expertise, esports experience or a real drive to make a difference in young people's lives, you will be committed to supporting learners to achieve their full potential. You will help develop aspirations for future education, employment and careers within the digital sector whilst promoting a positive and inclusive culture in everything you do.
Knowledge of SEND will be advantageous and you must be able to respond to the emotional, social and mental health needs of our children and young people. You will be required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of learners and facilitate their access to learning by responding to individual needs, which may include personal care and hygiene needs where required.
Through your excellent interpersonal skills, you will support learners to engage positively in digital and esports programmes, contribute to monitoring progress and achievement, and help young people recognise and celebrate their successes. You will work closely with teachers and colleagues to provide high-quality support within lessons, small group activities and one-to-one interventions.
You will be working as part of a team supporting the delivery of digital qualifications, esports programmes and employability-focused learning opportunities. As part of the Trust's Digital Hub, you will help create meaningful experiences that provide learners with a gateway into digital futures, developing the skills, confidence and aspirations needed to progress into further education, training and employment. You will be part of a committed staff team motivated every day by improving the life chances of our children and young people.
