As we progress the realisation of our new 5 year strategic plan, we are excited to be seeking an experienced school leader to join our central Trust team as our newest Executive Assurance Partner, to facilitate support and challenge for our existing family of schools and lead on our assurance programme for mathematics.
Working to the Assistant Chief Executive Officer – Quality Assurance & Improvement, the post holder will work alongside a peer group and with Headteachers to ensure the Trust quality assurance and improvement programme is having a positive impact on school governance, staff and pupil wellbeing and, ultimately, pupil outcomes.
We are seeking a candidate with experience of being a Headteacher, bringing a proven track record of successful leadership which has improved the quality of education for children and young people. The post is not term time only, meaning candidates will have the option to take annual leave and flexible leave.
It is anticipated that the successful candidate would be appointed to start September 2023.
The vision for Nexus MAT is that we are “Learning together, to be the best we can be”, and the leadership style of the successful candidate will be a key determining factor in the selection process. We want someone who understands the importance of servant leadership and who consistently applies appreciative enquiry methodology.
The post will be paid on School Teacher Pay and Conditions Document Leadership Points L18 – L24. The post holder will be enrolled into the Teacher Pension Scheme, unless the appointee wishes to opt out.
For an informal conversation about the vacancy, please contact Mrs. Jacky Tattershall, Assistant Chief Executive Officer at JTattershall@NexusMat.org to arrange a phone call.
Please submit completed application forms to Maria Simpson at MSimpson@nexusmat.org.
