About our School
Willow Park School is a specialist SEMH provision for pupils aged 7–16. We work with children and young people who require more than simply good teaching; they need adults who can build trust, understand trauma, support emotional regulation, and maintain high expectations even during their most challenging moments.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Teacher to join our staff team and play a key role in developing our pupils academic, behavioural and emotional progress. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.
About the Trust
This is an exciting opportunity to join an award winning Multi Academy Trust and be part of a welcoming and supportive team that serves amazing children and young people. Nexus Multi Academy Trust was founded in 2016, with 23 unique SEND and mainstream academies.
We are a growing, forward thinking and innovative Trust with a shared ethos, vision and values for a personalised child centred approach. We are committed and invested in “Learning together, to be the best we can be” and it is as relatable to every employee and partner of our Trust as it is to our children, young adults and their families.
Please see a copy of our most recent prospectus and workforce engagement statement for further information.
Our Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible Teacher to join a team of dedicated staff who are committed to providing excellent learning opportunities and become part of a successful team in a busy working environment.
The role advertised will be to teach in the Rivelin area of the school. In Rivelin we have pupils aged 7 to 11 and they follow a primary model.
We want an individual who has a passion for working with young children with complex and multiple learning difficulties; for individuals who believe in personalising learning to meet needs and place children at the centre of their work. If you feel you have these skills, we very much welcome your application.
We welcome applications from experienced Teachers who have worked within a mainstream or specialist setting. Interested persons must have a real drive to make a difference in children’s lives, you must be able to provide our children with aspirations for their futures along with promoting a positive culture in everything you do.
Knowledge of SEN will be advantageous, and you must be able to respond to the emotional, social and mental health needs of our children and young people. You will be required to ensure the safety of our children and young people and facilitate their access to learning by planning and teaching engaging lessons to meet individual needs.
