Discovery Academy is a brand-new school for children and young people with SEND located on the Norfolk Park Estate in Sheffield. The Academy is run by the award-winning Nexus Multi Academy Trust.

We are looking to appoint a highly professional and efficient Class Teacher.
You will need to demonstrate that you:
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have GCSE Grade C or above in mathematics or English or equivalent qualification
Are willing to undertake regular training and professional development as and when required
Have working knowledge of SEND Code of Practice 0-25 years
Have experience of teaching children or young people with SEND including Autism in a mainstream, resource base or special school setting
Have the ability to teach all subjects
Have the ability to lead English throughout the school
Have expert knowledge on the delivery of phonics and early reading framework.
