Heatherwood School is an academy within Nexus Multi Academy Trust.

Heatherwood School is a highly successful and passionately child-centred special school for children and young people with profound, multiple or severe learning difficulties. We serve 94 amazing children and young people from EYFS through to Key Stage 5, across two sites, who are very well-supported by a highly dedicated and hard-working team of professionals.

Heatherwood School has exceptionally strong partnerships with other schools within Nexus Multi Academy Trust and across Doncaster.

At Heatherwood School, we believe in holistic support for children and families, with a focus on all aspects of a child’s life: their education, their health, and their social needs; we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who not only shares our values, but who actively pursues their delivery.
