Join the Nexus team as a Bader - SEN Teacher (Science Lead)
Our Opportunity
We are actively seeking applications for specialist Secondary phase teachers in the area of Science; and will support both our subject specific approach and project-based learning curriculum in our Upper and Lower School departments. We are looking for practitioners who have an innovative approach to their work and aren’t afraid to think of new and interesting approaches to the support they offer.
Empathetic and passionate, you’ll understand that our pupils’ journeys aren’t necessarily linear. If you haven’t worked in SEN before, but are enthusiastic and motivated to make the move, we’ll give you all the additional training and support you require.
You will be supporting learners within their classroom environment as well as their personal and social development during socialising periods through break and lunch times. The role may also involve supporting pupils who are accessing an alternate provision away from the school environment.
We actively welcome applications from existing SEND practitioners looking for a new whole school role, as well as colleagues who are looking to move in to SEND sector. It goes without saying that we will nurture, support and provide you with the professional development needed for you to succeed.
Through our Trust we can also provide the training and development for you to develop skills and qualifications to support you in working with our children and young people.
