Hours and Salary: Grade 6 NJC6- NJC11 (FTE £25,989 - £28,142 - Actual Salary £12,935 - £14,006)
Part time, 3 days - 21 hours per week (working days to be agreed)
(8.30a.m to 4.00p.m minus 30 minutes for lunch break)
School and Location: Heatherwood School, Leger Way, Doncaster, DN2 6HQ
Contract type: Part time, Permanent, Term Time only plus 5 additional days

About the School
Heatherwood School is a vibrant learning community and part of Nexus Multi Academy Trust. It is a special day school for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe, profound and/or multiple learning difficulties.
Heatherwood School has an additional post 16 provision for pupils with moderate learning needs; and a small cohort are educated at, The Bridge, our offsite provision.

Our Opportunity
Heatherwood School is seeking to appoint a Family Engagement Officer to work across our wonderful school; supporting our pupils and their families. The successful candidates will form part of an enthusiastic and committed staff team and all relevant training will be given.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and innovative person who recognises the importance of pastoral support helping to facilitate the best outcomes for our amazing children and young people. We work in partnership with parents/carers and external agencies to ensure our children and young people develop appropriate skills for life and are able to flourish through a personalised curriculum offer.
